Renewal Information

Pistol Permit renewals which are mailed in will be processed within two business days of receipt and not on the expiration date.  For example, if your pistol permit expires on September 1, 2023 and we receive and process on August 15, 2023, the new expiration date will be August 15, 2024 (assuming you purchased a one-year permit).   The same applies to renewals that are brought in-person to the Sheriff's Office.  They will be renewed on the date you come in, not on the expiration date.

When renewing your permit by mail, a new application must be submitted with your payment.
