On Sunday, July 28th at approximately 10:00 pm, deputies responded to a shooting at a residence on Johnson Drive in Chelsea. Once deputies arrived, they encountered one individual with a gunshot wound to an extremity, and the suspect was detained. The victim was transported by Chelsea Fire and Rescue to an area hospital for treatment, and investigators responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
On Monday, July 29, 2019, 51-year-old William Scott Osborn of Chelsea was charged with Assault 1st degree and is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $10,000 bond.
